Relax sotto l'ombrellone - Relaxation under umbrella

Agosto è arrivato e con esso il relax meritato da passare al mare o in montagna. Ovunque voi, e il vostro tablet, siate, potete leggere i numerosi articoli e documenti (molti in inglese) che sono disponibili sulla sidebar di questo blog. August arrived with well-deserved relaxation to spend at the sea or in the mountains. C 47B Incidente in decollo - C-47B crashing in takeoff

Un Douglas C-47 è stato coinvolto in un incidente durante il decollo dalla pista 19 all'aeroporto municipale di Burnet, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, durante il EAA AirVenture air show. Il velivolo poi si fermato nell'erba accanto alla pista. Tutti e 13 a bordo sono sopravvissuti all'incidente; cinque hanno subito lesioni di lieve entità.

Historic C-47 vintage plane known as the Bluebonnet Belle crashed during takeoff at Texas' Burnet Municipal Airport on Saturday.

According to The Drive, all 13 passengers survived but seven were injured, with one receiving burns. The aircraft, which is owned by the Highland Lakes Squadron, a branch of the Commemorative Air Force, was on its way to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for the 2018 EAA AirVenture air show.

Un video della sequenza del decollo e dell'incidente mostra l'accelerazione in decollo, con il ruotino di coda che lascia il suolo brevemente, pochi secondi dopo ripoggia in pista, l'aereo sembra imbardare sul lato sinistro, poi a destra, rimbalzando sul carrello di atterraggio principale sinistro. La punta dell'ala destra tocca  il suolo prima che l'aereo prenda il volo. L'estremità dell'ala sinistra tocca il suolo, causando lo slittamento dell'aereo a sinistra. Il carrello di destra sembra piegarsi mentre l'aereo si ferma in una nuvola di polvere.
